Months had passed and Dylan made sure to stay next to Terastas after their rather intimate session together on the beach. Dylan was slowly becoming more worried with each passing day. What if half humans and pokemon couldn't breed. What if she specifically was infertile? On Christmas Day, she got the answer to her question as she entered the bedroom she and her pelipper protector were staying in for the winter break.
"H..hey." the tanuki was bashfully muttering. It was hard for her to contain her excitement. She very gently lifted her hoodie up to reveal a white and purple pokemon egg underneath. "I...it worked, it actually worked! We're gonna be a mom and dad. S..say, you don't mind if I..."
And very soon after, Dylan found herself safely stored away within Terastas. Like penguins with their own eggs, the pelipper wanted to keep his as warm as possible until it hatched. He had a more unconventional method of doing so but one that could guarantee the egg and Dylan's own safety, especially with how cold it was starting to get outside now.
Dylan and Terastas got a Christmas miracle. And man was the lab going to be very interested.
