Piano Duet: Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) - Theme
This simplified piano duet is my attempt at doing the theme from the television series "Sonic the Hedgehog;" fans often use the slang term "Sonic SatAM" to distinguish it from other Sonic media. Notably, it was running simultaneously with "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," and both shows had Jaleel White (famous for playing Steve Urkel on "Family Matters") Whereas that show was a comedy show with a lighthearted take on Sonic battling Dr. Robotnik (or Dr. Eggman if you prefer), this one took a much darker tone, and portrayed Robotnik as a cruel dictator ruling over Mobius after taking it over and turning it into a polluted industral dystopia.
This provided the basis for the long-running Sonic the Hedgehog comic books; the comics would later incorporate characters from the video game continuity, including Team Choatix, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Silver the Hedgehog.
