thought I'd share this, its part of a meme I've been doing on and off to relax between commissions [most finished recently are ones that I'm not yet allowed to post online... so, posting little bits and pieces to keep my gallery updated.

Inari is Kimi's representation as an silent hill/otherworld monster

symbolism: she represents chastity, hands are covered with closed robe-like sleeves, feet are bandaged up and her torso and upper legs are firmly wrapped in bandages, forcing her legs together. making her movements alittle similar to a nurse, though not quite as twitchy in the head region. her eyes are also covered for a similar reason to the rest of her being covered up. bandages trail down from the back of her head to make her 'tails' which twitch about freely and would be her primary weapon. if she was a game character, firearms would be sugguested due to the amount of range she would have.

Shambles is Shadow's representation as an silent hill/otherworld monster

symbolism: he represents over indulgence and greed, thus the long tongue hanging from his broken maw [he lacks a lower jaw] his fur is mangy and rotten, skin showing through in patches as if he's been burned. [much like a sniffer dog http://images.wikia.com/silent/imag.....ferDogMale.png ] he has no 'eyes' as such, just sunken pits with a dull red glow. drool is slightly acidic and black, like tar. he is missing his left forearm which is replaced with a bone spike from a close encounter with Ezra, who slashed it off with his scythe. also not pictured because of the angle, he has a long scar over his back and some of his side from the same slash wound. his movements would be like a sniffer on all 'fours' or like an insane cancer standing.

yey, i love making monsters <3 and yes, i'm aware Inari is a kitsune, most names in SH are symbolic, or even religious.

currently thinking of colours for Inari... ideas? :)
