My first experience with Pokemon was back in the late 90's with Pokemon Blue and I kept up with the games, anime, movies, and trading cards for quite a few years (mostly until it started to become way too costly to keep up with everything). I was hit or miss with Pokemon for years before starting to get back into it, like many, in 2020 during the start of the Pandemic and I now have the vast majority of cards from the first 7 sets (and only missing a single card from the first 3 sets- Base, Jungle, and Fossil). The past year and half the PokemonCommunityGame (PCG) extension on Twitch has been getting me more familiar with Gens 8 and 9 since I haven't played any of the games or remakes released in the past number of years.

I'm still not really sold on the regional pokemon forms of earlier pokemon but after seeing a picture of an anthro Galarian Rapidash I decided I wanted to get one some time of my unicorn. Dandyliondreamer was offering pokefy pics for Halloween and I thought that would be fun to do. They were quite patient as we worked to figure out first the design and then the colors. A Blue version became the official look but they also did a Pink version that I also like that definitely fits when he's acting a bit more femboi but that version doesn't have a watermark on it to be safe to upload. They do a lot of really cute sfw art.
