Holiday Stream 2024 Sketch: The Nightshade System

"It's no understatement to say that without the nightshades. I would be A wet and soggy shambling mess of a person completely lost, confused, and broken into many pieces that I could not pick up on my own. I can point to no single person who has not just been good for me and my development as a person, but so visibly good for so many other people. They took someone lost and confused with burgeoning new friends in his head, and set them down along the path to being happy and healthily living with the new friends that he acquired. Joey alone is one of my oldest friends on the internet, knowing her for a decade or more by now, and even though they just came back into my life a couple years ago or so, we picked up right where we left off. She's so much fun and so sweet and excitable to hang around. another person of infectious joy.

Vince acts a lot more uncaring about his friends than he actually is, and I don't care how true it is, he's been the biggest help for so many people. I've taken friend after friend to him to help resolve potentially plural feelings, and he's helped every single one of them figure out what they had going on (even if it wasn't plurality). He's one of our best buddies and he is the one who took a lost and confused me, and helped walk him through all of the confusion and disarray I was in. I am a better person now because of him. It is no exaggeration to say I would have fallen apart completely if he wasn't there to help glue the pieces back together when I was first falling apart. and even now that I'm all together and working like a well-oiled machine. I still see him supporting so many people with as much care as he put into me. he may act grumpy and disinterested, and sure maybe he is. but underneath that is one of the most responsble and helpful people I've ever had the luck of getting to know

And in similar measure, when Vince *isn't* around or his straight-to-the-point methods aren't working, Tox is a very nice slime friend who is one of those friends who just has a chill and calming presence. it's taken people who are shaken or upset, and just by virtue of being has gotten them less riled up and feeling so much nicer.

I can thank them for being there for so much of the progress I've made in the last few years and encouraging me to keep going forward, I got my learners permit because of them!! and I see them help so many other people as well.
