"You know lime -- he's a genuine, down-to-earth sweetheart. He's my rotten soldier, which is to say less crudely that he's a close friend for good reason. He was one of the first furries I've had the pleasure getting to know deeply. He designed my sona and is responsible, in part, for the furry I am today. When times get rough, we're there for each other; when the deeper bouts of depression hit, we're there for each other. As an example: when I had a major meltdown back in Spring 2023 after I got into a car accident on the way to see family in the hospital (ironic), he kept me calm. I was self-destructing, but he kept me from fully giving up on furrydom. He was patient with me. He helped me get back to where I was in 2024, and that alone warrants my eternal gratitude.
He has gone through trials and tribulations over the last year, including a sudden loss in the family. Still, he prevailed. I know that you understand this all too well, Blur. Though I compliment him to his face all the time, I don't know if I tell him how much of a model of tenacity he is. Same compliment goes to you. I digress though: I legitimately believe lime has improved my life. From my dialogues with him about music (and we talk about music a lot, like holy shit he scratches my itch to discuss it - and, he lets me effuse to him about weird progressions and key/metric modulations; he also shares so much indie music, it's wonderful; pardon the parenthetical stream of consciousness) to our discourse on coping with various life events, I firmly believe lime has expanded my worldview and made me a better person.
Also, he dropped a birthday present on me that I was NOT expecting, and it got me choked up. For him to have that emotional impact on me, he's very important. It's rare for me to cry from sappy things. He knows just when and how to strike. I desperately wished I was decent enough at art to indulge him back; though, I do plenty of writing to compensate for that lack. Nonetheless, I hope to get him back one day, you know?
Lastly, he's drawn very cute Hif art. That's all.
Thank you for reading and considering this. I could gush more about him for a couple more paragraphs, but I intend to submit more forms, and you already have 100+ to read through, I imagine." - ouroboricaurora
