Christmas morning comes, Suki is left sleeping in their shared bed. Dustin, the early riser, sets about his plans. Knowing his beloved is a heavy sleeper he brings the large mutt into the bedroom and allows him to get in bed with her. A collar with a bow and bell on it around his neck. Suki doesn’t even notice simply rolling over to the warmth and snuggling the creature in her deep sleep.

Dustin smiles at the two, already a bond seeming to form as Magnum snuggles up with her and gives him a lazy tail wag, happy to be in his new home. Dustin returns to making breakfast for the two once he is done he returns to the bedroom, both his mate and their new pet happily sleeping away the cold morning.
