Among the more honorable of tribes in Chima, the Mantises were warriors, ninjas and diplomats who sided mostly with the Lions and Eagles. They were known for having a rivalry with the more distrusting Scarab Tribe. Their monarchy worked like a beehive with the Queen ruling over the subjects and birthing most of the soldiers. In their heiarchy, the Queen had more authority than the king, and females were more respected due to their strength and silver tongues. They had a legend Beast that they revered like a god. They were known for using no weapons except pulsor blasters due to having bladed pincers for hands. They could also fly, but didn't do it very often. They were also known for having large appetites and a preference in their diet for meat. Their vehicles included all-terrain crawlers and jets.

Divine is the princess of the Mantises and heir tot he throne, being a royal Queen Mantis she would one day lead and birth most of the soldiers. Until then, she served as representative for the tribe. She was very well-thought of for her beauty and strength, as well as her surprising speed despite having no legs. But while her mother was a bit protective of her she preferred to get out and have fun with her friends and take risks. She was especially good on the Speedorz Races. She was very flirty with most boys and closest to Eris, Gorzan and Froakie in terms of friendship. But in battle, she was a deadly and sometimes scary force to be reckoned with. Sometimes she would even shoot eggs at her enemies like missiles. She was one of the first to try to convince the tribes to get along amongst all the fighting in Season 1.

Queen Desire is the queen of the Mantises and Divine's mother. She was a fair but firm ruler who was as wise as King Lagravis but as fierce as King Crominus. She was very protective of her daughter, believing her to be a "delicate flower", much to Divine's annoyance, and it took her a while to let her daughter make her onw decisions.

King Druz is King of the Mantises, father of Divine and husband of Queen Desire. A fair ruler who is often overshadowed by his wife, he nonetheless is a good diplomat who is one of the most experienced fighters in Chima. He was once wounded in a skirmish with the wolves and scarabs and has been keeping an eye on both tribes ever since. He is one of the only mantises who keeps a melee weapon, a modified Royal Valius gifted to him from the Lions as a symbol of their friendship.

Diamond is the captain of the Royal Guard in the Mantis Tribe. A soldier who prioritizes the safety of others and his own troops over his own, he is a model soldier who will keep everyone safe even if it hurts him. His examples of self-sacrifice have caused his troops to adore him and follow his orders without question.

Destiny is a mechanic for the Mantises and keeps all their vehicles and pulsors in pristine condition. She lovesa fixing and building things, and is often sneaking off to the Beaver Tribe to share her ideas and projects with them.

Dreamer is the chief healer of the Mantises. A doctor, dentist and therapist all in one. He will go to the ends of Chima and back to save others and heal his patients. Like most doctors, he is kind of a strictler for rules, and if his patients try his patience, he will not let them leave until he finishes treatment.
