When I'm asked to draw an oven, to make it homey and comfortable I often go with a golden color, which is actually the color of my own stove which has been in my kitchen since the 70's, and the model itself may be older than that by a decade. True, the only element still working is the front left burner, but I'll never forget the warmth of that unit the family used to gather around to cook meals for Christmas or whatever excuse there was for a family get-together!
