=== Description ===
Juno is a celestial maned wolf. Her fur colors are from the dusk sky, and in the darker patches, you can see small stars twinkle and shine through. On her chest, a bright white splotch softly glows with a small orb at the core. Her hair and ear fluff also faintly glows, but is outshone by the small dusty freckles on her cheeks and hips.
=== Background ===
Juno, or "The Astronomer" is the elemental demigod of time and quantum space. She is the first elemental out of the 3 major fundamental elementals that make up the universe. While her form has changed over time, this maned wolf incarnation has persisted through most of the duration of the universe. Her domain includes several consequential emergent phenomenon, notably the past, present, and future history of all conscious life.
She resides in a place called the Library, a manifestation of everything that ever happened or ever will happen. She is also connected to "the Observatory", which how she can stabilize quantum space and materialize it into existence.
== Artist Notes ===
This is a quick preview reference... still developing the character and her design! This character has been on my mind for a long time, so I really wanted to get something down. Her character background evolved first and the rest of the design kinda fell in place after. Regardless, having something down means that I can reference this better in the future and start working on more scenes/art with her... and maybe some commissions :3c
I am absolutely obsessed with the deep blue->purple->orange color scheme... and I'm really glad I could finally render it with some level of satisfaction
I still need to work on how to visually characterized maned wolf characters. Obviously the legs are long, but I think the ears and snout have a characteristic shape. Good practice to work on outside of the normal fennecs ;) This is a good first swing, though I'm sure I'll modify her some more in the future.
