Hiya! It's been a bit since I've done a story with the Cagliostro Crew, so here's a quick Christmas story focusing on the team's safe cracker, Kida! The story will have stuffing and some scenes of nausea. I hope you all enjoy and I hope you have a happy holidays!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kida moaned in discomfort as she leaned back on the couch. Her belly growled loudly in response, packed beyond full of food and drink. She had gone to a couple holiday parties over the course of Christmas Day, which meant loads of meals that she couldn't refuse. I mean, it was free food, how could she refuse?
Well, now that she was home, the poor bat didn't even want to think about food anymore. Her stomach had grown pretty big, to the point where people were mistaking her for being pregnant. While she appreciated the attention she got for it, she was feeling pretty sick by the time she got to her cabin. Sickly groans and gurgles occasionally interrupt the sounds of the show Kida put on, rubbing her belly to hopefully relieve some of the commotion inside. She gave a small sick-sounding burp as she fought back a wave of nausea.
There was a knock at the door, scaring Kida a little bit. Crap, she forgot she was having her friends over tonight. “Be right there!” She shouted, carefully getting up from the couch. She could hear her belly sloshing loudly as its contents shifted around. Taking carefully quick steps towards the door, she would open it to see her friends there celebrate Christmas Day with her. Ven has always held a special Christmas tradition for her team, where they get to have the whole week to go meet up and have fun with their families for the holidays before meeting up by the end of the week to enjoy one big party before they get back to their typical job of fighting Syckle. This year, they decided on holding the party at Kida's place as they knew she would need some company. Her family wouldn't be able to make it this year because of a bad snowstorm.
Kida gave a big smile upon hearing them all say “Merry Christmas!”. She was genuinely happy to have her friends here for the holidays, but was still very worried about losing her entire day's worth of meals in one go. That especially became apparent upon the smell of various foods the team had hitting her nose, causing her stomach to start acting up again. Tia would notice this and would ask “Oh, Kida, are you okay? I-I'm guessing you already had a lot of food today.”
Ven would calmly tell her “If you want us to, we can put this back in the car for now.” Kida immediately replied “No no, it's alright, I still have room.” She patted her belly lightly, feeling a wave of gas rise up her throat. She burped with her mouth closed in case it led to something else coming up. The rest of the team looked at each other a bit curiously before heading into her cabin. They began putting the dishes they each cooked onto the table, each of them making something that smelled too good to Kida. Ven made an amazingly good sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and marshmallows, Tia brought over some apple pie to share, Jason had created his own eggnog with a bit of extra vanilla flavoring, and Max had crafted an amazingly delicious carrot cake decorated in christmas colors. Max was always the best with cooking and baking, which definitely explains his typically big waistline. He always lived by the phrase “Never trust a skinny baker.” and didn’t seem to mind it at all.
Kida would shuffle back to the couch to relax her belly, only for the smells of food to waft over to her nose once again. Amazingly sweet food that filled the house with a pleasant aroma. It almost felt like her stomach was hungry and overstuffed at the same time as it growled once again. She considered whether to have some of the desserts or not. She wasn't very sure if she could have any more, but…man, it smelled so good. The bat got up and headed to the kitchen to have some desserts. “Kida, are you sure you are able to eat? You don't have to if you aren't feeling well.” Jason asked. Kida would ignore the worries of her teammate and tell him “I'm fine, honestly! Now, let's get to eating!”
Ven just shrugs and begins passing plates and utensils to everyone so they could pick and choose what they wanted. Kida decided to have one of each dessert, just to make sure she could try everyone's amazing culinary creations. Thus began the long and arduous task of finishing the delicious desserts made by her friends. She tried one bite of each, enjoying how they all tasted. Then came the big problem of finishing her plate of food.
Every swallow would add to the increasing commotion within her stomach, as well as causing it to bloat. Her belly would grow slightly bigger each time she finished a mouth full of food. Waves of nausea began again as the pressure built, her body feeling like it was beyond its limits and needing a safe release. All while this happened, she felt herself feel excited to be pushing herself this far. It felt kinda good, almost too good. She decided to go for seconds, which worried the others.
Ven called a secret Cagliostro Team Huddle to discuss Kida eating too much.
HUDDLE CHAT START!
V: Okay, Kida is definetly not doing well, she seem to have eaten more than Max does in a day.
M: Yeah, and I can attest to that.
J: What do you think made her do this today?
T: Well, there are a few reasons I can think of. She's stressed, she is too nice to say no to food, her family isn't able to visit her this week. What do you think, knucklehead!?
M: She needs an intervention before she eats too much! She'll puke and I'll get nauseous and throw up and I don't want to make the mess worse…
V: Okay, well just calm down and let's talk to Kida about it. Only question is how do we want to do this? Should we do it as a group or bring in a special guest like all Christmas specials do?
T: I'll go talk to her, I know how she feels right now.
J: Are you sure this isn't because you've been interested in her, too?
T: I've been in her situation as well. I was able to get it under control, but it took a lot of specific exercises to get me in good shape afterwards.
V: Really? I thought you just grew up like this.
T: Well, how else do you think I got my body to this perfect plumpness?
HUDDLE CHAT END
The huddle breaks and Tia heads over to Kida to sit next to her. She had finished half of a third plate of food before she had to lean back in her seat and take a breather. By now, her belly had a slight red tint beneath her fur, loud sounds of digestion emanating as she tried to hold it all in. She was bound to either hurt herself or puke all over the cabin. “Hey, girl, you doing alright? You've been eating too much, just relax.”
“What makes you say that?” Kida says, her cheeks puffing up soon afterwards. Her hands fly to her mouth as she carefully swallows everything going up back down into her stomach. She was losing her battle to keep everything she ate within her stomach, and Tia knew she needed to relax before she fully lost it.
“Look, Kida, I get it. You have been having a rough week because of the storm ruining your plans with your family, but…this…”, Tia gestures to Kida's groaning gut. “...this isn't a healthy way to deal with it. Look, how about we head to the bathroom and relax there in case you end up throwing up, okay? I'll be with you the rest of the night. We all will. We're our own weird family, after all.”
The others agree, with Max clearly looking uncomfortable at the thought of Kida throwing up here and now, but still smiling in support of his friend.
Kida sighed. “...okay. Thank you, Tia…”
The two head to the bathroom to take a rest and to help Kida with her aching stomach. Tia would be there the whole rest of the night with the bat in case she needed someone to clean up afterwards. She did have to puke up at least three times but it was only small bits being thrown up into the toilet. After a bit of cleaning up, she would calm down and fall asleep with her head on the tigress’ lap. Tia just carefully rubbed Kida's belly as she slept, occasionally giving her head a few light pats before she eventually fell asleep with a small content smile.
The next morning, the crew would go for a quick heist to help Kida feel better. Just stealing back a priceless artifact from a museum notorious for stealing items from around the world. The heist was a lot of fun and they were able to return it to its rightful owner. All the while, Kida would be feeling a lot better. She was obviously still sad that she couldn't see her family this holiday, but…it's not like she was without one today.
