Haven't done much in lifelike besides flowers for quite a few years. Especially so with portraits, without it being cartoony or anime style.
Yet yesterday the urge hit me to give it a go, upon sight of Diazrar's selfie on Bluesky. I dunno, I just really liked the vibe from the image. Had to try recreate it by hand.
Surprising myself how well it turned out, I must confess. Quite proud of this, and glad to see Diaz approving of the surprise portrait.
