its crazy how this is the most stable version of them. It's almost like normal Angela is unable to express how much they actually care for Zelda in a way that gets through to Zelda and shows that they are actually cared for. I guess big beast angela doesnt have that problem.

or rather zelda is actually able to express some kinda of feeling and be nice (also to herself). or yeah maybey angela being more feral caveman has something to do with that.. i dunno i just draw and things just happen and i see them later sometimes or not at all lol

Maybe its because angela simply can't understand the multiple reasons Zelda believes would drive people away. She's too simple for zelda to believe she can see any of her flaws.
