Pinkie pie‘s ancestors were originally were nomads who later settled down in the mountains and established the rock farms. They had lived there for generations until they lost the rock farm due to the civil war.The remaining pie family decided to return back to their nomadic ways and decided to establish themselves as a traveling family circus.Pinkie pie would latter meet cheese sandwich,Trixie,applejack during one of her family events and establish a strong relationship with them.pinkie pie decided to split from her family and become a become a traveling party planner like her childhood friend cheese.

Pinkie pie would be known for big parties ,her laughter, baked goods,entertainment, and her crazy personality. Her fame would gain her the attention of Empress Luna. Luna would request pinkie to come to court to entertain and make baked goods for her and her quest. She would get to know rarity,rainbow dash,and Fluttershy this way.Pinkie pie and applejack would become business partners Later on.
