I pity those that seek to harm the dragons the former wing commander considers under her charge. While she knows about just as much as everyone else when it comes to the wings of mercy. She has overheard the secretive orders members whisper about a "Director".

So who ever that dragon is seems to be the wings of mercy leader. She has also heard members whisper of an "island". A place called Elysium. Sparrowhawk assumes this so called mystery island is were the wings of mercy are based and operate out of. But she still cant figure out how the group get around the world so quickly to respond to disasters. They appear out of nowhere as if by magic.
