Potato & Bacon Alfredo Pasta
Very simple dish but very yummy!
1 Jar Cheesy Garlic Alfredo
1 LB Gold Potatoes (cubed)
1 Box Penne Pasta
1 Pkg Bacon (1/2 inch Cut)
1 TB Italian Seasoning
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp Dried Chili Pepper
1 Pkg Garlic & Herb Potato Seasoning
Cook Pasta in boiling water with a bit of Olive Oil and a pinch of Salt until al-dente
Shake cubed potatoes in seasoning (Bag is usually provided in the mix package)
lightly tie the end of the bag and put on top of a microwave safe dish, poke a few holes
on the top of the bag and microwave potatoes for about 6-8 min
(BAG & POTATOES WILL BE VERY HOT!!) >> dun near burnt myself on that sucker...
Lightly cook bacon pieces until just cooked
add Alfredo, Italian Seasoning, Ground Black Pepper an Dried Chili Pepper
Cook on low heat for about 10-20 min (longer it cooks the more the flavors mix)
Serve sauce over Pasta
Top with Seasoned Potatoes and Enjoy!
