Oh it's a nice concept yeah :D
For this specific character it's more that she was from a family devoted to the erdtree gaining power by sacrificing one of their childrens to the two fingers. Theses childs were then made wolves to serve as shades and so on, but this character ran away before turning completely... she still got caugh in the end, severely punished, ence starting the game as the prisoner ^^
