Oh boy where to begin. So first off this piece was massively delayed, I meant to have something out by Thursday or Friday but that piece ended up falling apart. I tried to get a drawing of Ungatt Trunn from the Redwall Book "Lord Broktree" done but just could get a pose going that I liked, I had a design for him in my head and everything but just couldn't settle on a pose so after 3 or so days of starting and then throwing out drawings of Trunn I decided to put him on hold for a while and draw someone else. Immediately after putting Trunn down for a bit I went straight to Silvamord from the Redwall book "The Bellmaker" because of course I would want to draw a fox lady. But for real though Silvamord was one of the most fascinating characters in my recent reread of the entire series (still not done with the full series reread, just got to Rakkety Tam) I just loved her and her scheming little nature. If there's one thing I like it's schemer type characters and if there's other 2 things I like it's high society/aristocrat styles and foxes and what do you Silvamord is all 3. I could probably write an essay on Silvamord, in fact I think I did when I reread bellmaker and sent it to my friend in discord lol, but I doubt you guys wanna read about me gushing about how much I love my evil scheming fox ladies so I guess I'll talk about the drawing now. I wanted to do something quick with this piece because I already wasted so much time on my failed drawings of Trunn so I opted out of super detailed shaded like I had in my last two pieces and went with a more simple shading with some light from the windows impacting the scene. As for the posing I decided not to do what I normally do, drawing a scene from the novel, and instead created a hypothetical scene for this drawing. In my hypothetical scene I decided to draw what was Silvamords ultimate goal, being the sole ruler of Castle Floret. I decided then to obviously position her in the castles throne to obviously show she's taken control of the castle and then I positioned the Urgan Nagru's wolf pelt on the top of the throne showing she's disposed of him in one way or another, she also has a glass of wine as a little nod to her scenes with Sicant where they drink and scheme to overthrough the Urgan Nagru. Her sword is mostly a simple generic sword design not based off anything in particular but with some fox details put on it for theming. Ultimately I don't think this piece is particularly good and I definitely think I need to redraw Silvamord at some point so I can do her proper justice. For now my next piece is probably going to be a fan art of Kiki the Cyber Squirrel (Krita's mascot), because I use krita for all my digital art and the little loading screen image of Kiki is adorable and I need a little break from Redwall fanarts. After Kiki I've got a list of Redwall characters but I'll probably try and only do 2 Redwall characters in a row and then draw something else. Oh yeah I used to make lewd comics, yeah those are gonna be on pause, I'll make a new one soonish but I'm not gonna give any definitive time for that. Alright there isn't much else to talk about here
