Okay, here are some personal secrets of mine!
I never thought of doing this before, but I am comfier with the account I have, so I might as well tell you guys some stuff about me.
1: "Why do you say Friend alot?"
Well friend (hehe!), it's more so with Softsquash and how I want to spread more optimism!
The thing is, Softsquash's main gimmick is to say friend after each sentence, and I personally wanted to imitate it, due to it sounding more welcoming!
I wanted him to be an optimistic character, and one of general happiness, so I based my attitude around his to make me feel comfy myself.
And 2, a more personal issue.
You see; to cut a long story short...I'm kind of afraid of guys.
This was in part due to how my family was towards me, with them being rougher and more unforgiving.
My dad especially, who did a number of stuffs that I won't say here, but it's enough for me to have nightmares about him.
(Nothing like SA, but more emotional scarring).
It's because of this that I sometimes flinch when he is around and is visibly not good when he comes by.
Combine this with "friends" I had in school who threw rocks and laughed me out of a classroom, and you can see a pattern with the people I hang with.
And I should preface this, I don't hate men. I am one myself. That would be ignorant, my friends. I am more nervous with them. There is a difference.
So, if you hear me overcorrecting myself, acting animated, and being more passive if you guys want something from me, that's why. Especially since my own drawing quality isn't that good, so I want to make sure that I can do something for you all, that is even worth it in the end.
Especially since, I admit; I believe you guys draw better than I do (and most likely will ever do), so that's that.
(Am I being harsh on myself, yes. I will also admit that. These are feelings that I personally do have).
