I'm assuming I need to use an emulator for this? I can probably fetch a snes or NES emulator, I've actually played another fat romhack myself! Vimm's lair is great for ROMs.

yeah! it should work fine with most snes emulators, you just have to patch it over a Super Mario World rom, and you can use this site for most of the process

I've personally used Snes9x as I've heard it's pretty good, and I've had good experience with it myself for romhacks

Update: Tried it out, I fucking suck at platformers and I know this wasn't made for my skill level lmao

you're absolutely fine and i forgot the other part of this hack is that it's Balls Hard
you'll probably have to abuse save states, rewinds, and item cheats if you're not accustomed to hard smw hacks and most of its physics changes, and i will admit i had to just to get through some of it even though a lot of the levels have really cool mechanics

I have been and honestly I just gave up with this one point I gotta get past this lift that's way imbalanced, looking back at it I guess I could throw an item up there but I just wanna relax lol, plus I need to take my medication.

I just uh, don't know how to really cheat and I keep forgetting that rewind is its own thing, honestly if I'm gonna go through that effort to just play as a fat cat, I think I could just RP with someone (I AM a fat cat after all. Lovely work by the artists and game devs btw I just don't think I can enjoy it personally, my "tryhard" energy is directed more at stuff like Warframe and Helldivers 2, so I don't think I wanna exhaust myself further. I still find it so strange that 4chan wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for Lowtax of Something Awful hating weebs and furries for literally no reason.

And on top of that, bronies being purged from 4chan to the point where they made their own communities as a counter to that all back then is also just something else, it's like poetry.

Either way I've never used 4chan myself and I only learned about 4chan city because of the new part being uploaded and how I'm subscribed to the guy that made it mainly because his Pokemon and Undertale stuff. This is why I compare the parodies to a strange Russian shitpost series instead of what they're actually based on, lol.
