What you did was create a setup in the previous comic, one that got people thinking (very good idea) and when on the cusp of elaborating upon that setup, destroyed the scene, by breaking the fourth wall no less. Completely obliterated the immersive storytelling.

what you dont know and you judge without knowing is that if i went inside that arch of story, the one im in right now would have being lost, cuz the "hybrids past" part is HUUUUGEEEE, it would need its own sole chapter, and i can't make one chapter inside another, cuz if i tried to come back to this point to continue this arch, it would be weird and difficult to readers to keep track of what happened back then (without going back a whole chapter and read again where the story changed)
i had to make a choice between continuing this arch of story, Bonnie's training, or diving into another arch of story, Fel's past and friends. thats what i was trying to tell you, but you couldn't figure it out by yourself.

Then why even taunt your readers by using a flashback fakeout? This page could've been much more solid with a "let's save that for another time" dialogue, thus, setting up a future chapter. Even without actually making a future chapter, that sort of commentary will keep readers interested. Even if it's not the case, the way you handled this page seems more like laziness on your part. That said, I will still be reading, despite its faults, I do like this comic.

Holy snap...LOL! XD That was great, I actually liked how Fel broke the 4th wall in telling the readers that she wasn't going to go into that direction of storytelling, as if she was saying she'd go about telling about her past in her own way and in her own time in the comic, and not through the usual methods of advancing plot and character development. Seriously, Fel is awesome. Still though, it'll be great to learn more about Fel's and other hybrids' past when that point in the story does arrive. :)
