After 2 years of working as a Furry artist, it happened again. I was deceived into a free sketch. I have a rule: Always take 100% prepayment. But I also understand those who, like me, are afraid of fraud from the artist, so sometimes I allowed myself to break this rule and drew a sketch to calm a new client. Well, my kindness was taken advantage of and it is unpleasant. Just from now on, I will not neglect this rule. No payments after the sketch. Maximum 50% before the sketch and 50% after. Yikes... Feels bad man, next time try to make a commission form via Google or have some sort of filter, I could have been scammed by him pretty easily if I didn't have the Kofi donations enabled (bc I needed the money asap) either way, sucks that you had to go for this (I legit though he wanted to steal my discord account XD) also, mind if we talk over discord?
