Yay Devilbunnies. I used to lurk on their Usenet group years ago; I think it's still there but it's been years. The main theory of their origins was that they began as ordinary dustbunnies under people's beds, but eventually developed carnivorous tendencies with a taste for human toes. ;9 Their chief enemies were a group of armed loonies called Fudds.
