Locomotive after complete sanding and repainting (yet again). Decided to go with something simple and easily maintainable after getting tired of trying to keep up something with lots of stripes. This was originally going to be like the L&N grey primer and yellow nose scheme which turned into a disaster after I found out that Krylon spray paint FREAKING SUCKS.
A complete sanding of the runny mess and the purchase of decent Valspar paint and this was the result. I added Manny from Runaway Train in the front window for my own entertainment.

Yah, for something this big you'd probably be better served by forgetting spray cans and get a spray gun such as is commonly used for automotive finishes. Even cheapo ones will work far better than a 'can' and you'll get the choice as to how much solvent to use one those flat vertical sides.
Though I like Valspar, even owned their stock years ago (My Father even worked for them for a while) when they were more of a regional (North east and Midwest) paint and finishes producer.
I like the addition of Manny!
