Name: Elaris Dawnwhisper
Race: Wood Elf
Age: 121 (relatively young for an elf)
Class: Druid (Circle of Dreams)
Background:
Elaris Dawnwhisper grew up in the serene, hidden elven village of Sylva’theril, nestled within an ancient forest protected by a powerful but slowly waning magical barrier. Generations of druids and sages maintained this barrier, which shielded her people from the outside world and its dangers. However, as the forest’s magic began to fail, whispers of an artifact capable of restoring the barrier spread among the village elders.
The artifact's price was unimaginable for her people—both in gold and terms of power. To pay this price, Elaris, a natural-born empath and dreamer, volunteered for indentured servitude under the belief she could save her home by sacrificing a few decades of her long life. Her master's lifespan, she was assured, would be less than a century, and the contract would end upon their death.
What the bright-eyed, hopeful elf did not know was that her new master, Lord Vaelen Vorath, was no mere mortal. An immortal being—perhaps a vampire, a lich, or something far more eldritch—Vaelen concealed his eternal nature behind an aura of charisma and power. Once the contract was magically signed, Elaris understood the horrific truth: she would serve forever, as her master would never die.
Current Personality:
Despite her plight, Elaris refuses to succumb to despair. She holds on to her dignity and spirit, vowing to fulfill her oath until she finds a way to escape her servitude. She is clever and observant, seeking every opportunity to uncover weaknesses in her immortal master. Though she plays the role of a respectful servant, a quiet rebellion smolders in her heart.
Her bond with nature, strengthened by her druidic magic, serves as her comfort and hope. Flowers bloom where she walks, and dreams of her village—her people laughing, the forest alive with light—continue to haunt and inspire her.
Appearance:
Elaris wears a flowing green robe, embroidered with nature motifs, symbolizing her druidic roots. Her golden hair cascades down like beams of sunlight, but her eyes—once vibrant—are shadowed with quiet grief and determination. The red sash around her waist, a remnant of her village's tradition, reminds her of home.
A faint golden glow surrounds her, especially when she channels her magic, hinting at her connection to the Feywild and dreams.
Goal:
To find a loophole in her eternal servitude.
To retrieve the artifact for her village if possible, ensuring her sacrifice was not in vain.
To regain her freedom and return home, even if centuries pass.

I have to say I do feel sorry for her but she forgets something. Regardless of their nature even beings considered immortal can die. Doesn't mean they want resurrect later but they can die as long as the contract ends upon their death she can be free

OP
She got more than she bargain for sure. A tragic life that might have a happy ending some day.
