It seems Me and Nivvy's adventure at the mountain pass has run into Qudenos, the large and gorgeous red dragon. Nivvy is a bit headstrong and immediately charges at the great beast, not caring if he is a friend or foe. I follow behind Nivvy but his battle cry is picked up by the dragon. The dragon lumbers his body to face us, shaking the entire ground beneath us. As Qudenos turns, his enormous form becomes apparent to me and his shadow eclipses the whole ground in front of us. He is absolutely massive, and my grip loosens on my sabre and I begin to sweat down my face. This dragon must have been 25 feet tall and being small Kobolds could consume us in one bite. I turn toward Nivvy who still lacks fear at the dragon's sight, I guess we will learn soon about how puny we really are.
Qudenos looks almost pleased at the sheer stupidity of these Kobolds charging him down in the pass. We will either end up as burnt corpses, snacks for the dragon or be taken back as kobold servants. Maybe if I roll a high enough persuasion check I can get out of this one....
