You certainly are good at it. And if you feel that that's what you want to do, then I say go for it!

The shading and colors have added a good improvement. I'm sure you know the proportions are still off, but i'm sure you'll do better in the next picture. The shading helps give it more dimension and has really given this piece new life ^_^ the armor and feel of it is much more epic which is good considering the detail work you did on the armor in the first place. For some pieces it's hard to tell where your light source is coming from so maybe we can discuss light source stuff in IM or skype or even my stream sometime.

I'm okay with proportions being a little off because he is'int really human but what on him doesn't seam right?

Do draw to proper human proportions or do you alter them with anthropomorphic art?

ok well, erm... the beak is the only thing disproportionate to the rest of the body, so it's not really about human or animal proportions. For anthros i tend to use human proportions of body to head. and general body proportions. and if the anthro is digigrade i morph the anatomy ^_^ like i said this is more of a longer conversation but the proportion is mostly to itself on the beak, but seriously good job ^_^
