Link had no time to worry about pursuit from his foes, he just ran, weaving through the woods until he found an outcrop of rock to duck into. Hopefully the distance and cover he put between himself and the battleground will be enough to grant the needed time to mend his leg. The loss of blood was already leaving him lightheaded and with each passing moment his condition would only grow worse if left unattended... A wound such as this will not stop bleeding on its own. The gap between flesh is too wide, too deep, the flow of red too great for bandage and pressure alone to control.
Of all the tools Link carries the most humble of them will be what saves his life, a mere needle and thread.
With only adrenaline to act as a an anesthetic the hero set to work on the grueling task of sewing the wound closed. As the adrenaline faded so too did the numbness and the needle stung worse and worse with each pass. With the task nearly complete Link brought the thread between his teeth and leaned back to give a firm tug from above to be sure the sutures were firm and taught before tying the end and biting off the remaining thread.
Content that the flow of red had begun to cease Link laid back to rest, his body at ease but mind alert, focused on every sound. He would stay here for now but was prepared to bolt upon even the most subtle sound of movement from the world outside his rocky refuge.

O.< Damn! I always worry about sharp objects on the floor when the house is a mess or the guys finished making something... God that must of hurt for you :(
I would need someone else to do that for me, sewing up my huge ass gash on my leg. And pour some alcohol. I would probably faint too..

The second most worst part about sitting on the pin (which was hidden in the carpet) was that it went all the way in...the very worst part was pulling it back out! AHHHHHHHHHKHJDHFHFHJDKHA!
NOT FUN.
It was like ten times worse than stepping on a thumbtack (which I have done more times than I care to remember)

My own butt hurts just thinking about it... I had splinters before in my arms, hands, legs and bottom of my feet, few of them an inch long but never gotten anything longer (Thank god) Still a pin?! >.< Eeeee! My husband recently broke a crappy window with his fist. Bleeding everywhere and I can see like inch deep in. He didn't stitch himself, just used super glue..
Well, ya could say that I like to draw with red .___.
And it is boring drawing characters who get all gored up in canon situations (ie anime like Rurouni Kenshin, Berserk, and Casshern Sins) the Zelda games have plenty of violence but no blood so I tend to always go back to Zelda characters when in the mood for red

ive had super painful moments like this before (steped on a board with screws before so had a chunk of flesh drilled out of my foot wen i pulled my foot from it; slashed my knee with a nail but i didnt get stitches that time so i have a wide scar; my back has a scar from wen i was lil taking a bath i stood and the fosit got me; i steps on a thin piece of glass that was about half an inch long, i pulled it out expecting it to be small but wen i saw just how long it was and i started gushing out blood i had a bad reaction, my throat closed so i couldnt breath, my vision darkened so i couldnt see, and all the noises i heard were worped and slow, and parts of my body were going numb. i turned super pale i wasnt sure if i was trying to faint or if i was going into some sort of shock all i knew is that i could not for the life of me breath and that my family was just pointing and laughing at me, those bastards. I had to tend to myself thru my bad reaction even tho i couldnt see, hear, feel some of my limbs or freaken breath. I dont know how long it took me to stop the bleeding, or how long i had been deperately gasping for air. after a while the bleeding stoped and i could breath again, so i bandaged my foot up and limped to my room and passed out on the bed in exhaustion. took me about two months to heal from how deep it was, it sucked so much going to my martial arts class til then; But the worst on was when i was lil i was playing tag with friends, i tripped on my shoelace and flew straight into the edge of a brick wall head first. the impact knocked me unconcious for idk how long, but wen i regained it it took me a few seconds to figure out wat had happened so i layed still with my eyes closed.i dont think my friends knew that i was concious again cause i heard them panicing and saying to ditch me cause i was dead. i finally was able to move and slowly lifted myself up, i could feel the brick wall grinding against my skull, and the warm blood pouring from it. i stood on shaky legs and dazed, my friends gasped and i touched the warm liquid that kept streaming down my face, looked at it confused before realizing wat it was and i started stumbling to my apartment. I used the wall for support every now and then til i finally made it to my apt. i opened the door and stated calmly that i was bleeding. my mom freaked out and refused to let me see my reflection cause my skull was exposed, she wraped a towel and but presure on my head and rushed me to the ER.I was so tired, but they wouldnt let me sleep, i kept passing out and waking up only to pass out again. after stitches they did tests to see if i remembered who my mom was, and to see if i knew were i was and who i was. which i did so no biggy. but now i have a scar on my forehead and a dent on my skull)
Wow, you never see Link looking so hardcore!
Last night I backstepped on an inch and a half cactus needle that stabbed me through my shoe and sock, while I was lifting heavy furniture.
I'm imagining that sewing your own meat back together is like 50,000 times worse.
Also.. wtf @ that comment before mine?!
