I'm not very good at bgs but I say I'm happy with how this came out.

I have thought about a lore behind this. Russet and Ivory, when they were kids, they used to play together and do a lot of things together. As they got older Ivory wanted to be in a band more than anything. One day, her wish came true. She was accepted as a keytar player for Skull and the Night Howlers. Russet, even though he had the same dream, he was not accepted so Ivory left for her new career and didn't come back. Leaving Russet alone in his hometown hoping she'd come visit or at least contact him. Ivory, she wanted to come back for her cousin, but her career kept her. When Russet found out about the Night Howlers success, he was devastated and felt abandoned by someone he once called his best friend. Here he kneels down crying remembering the good times they had together as kids and the promises she once made.

I took inspiration from Spinel from Steven Universe the movie, because like Russet, she was also abandoned by someone she once called her best friend. I relate to that all too well. I know what it's like to be abandoned by so called friends.
