For my final project in Comparative Anatomy of the Vertebrates, I presented a ‘speculative’ Chupacabra that was a close relative to the common vampire bat. The Chupacabra (allegedly) captures and kills prey, so I got to modify the real critter’s anatomy for that purpose.
This is one of the images I worked on, which depicts the differences in size between C. cryptogigas (Chupacabra), D. rotundus (common vampire bat) and a female adult human.
