This is probably my first piece where the character isn’t entirely covered in fur. While working on this, I discovered some interesting sharpening filters in Photoshop. (It’s funny how these basic tools are always in plain sight, yet I never thought to try them until now.)
Almost the entire piece was done using a textured brush I usually reserve for rendering noses XD. Honestly, I really like how it turned out. I’ll definitely experiment more with this style in the future—it’s surprisingly fun and intriguing!
