My trundle would me striken with indecision, finding the trundling process itself (Wherein the subject is rendered loopy and without higher brain function for a moment) hot, but unable to ever actually partake himself, knowing doing so would be self-defeating in terms of attempting to murr.

What am /I/ going to do? Or my trundle? Or are they one in the same?

I'd likely remain oblivious of the trundle, until we crossed paths (either when he tries to return to my home, or starts interacting with my friends & family, or uses my various accounts). Once encountering him... I'm not really sure how I'd react. Perhaps try to figure out if it's a trick. Or if he does manage to convince me that he's also me, then possibly befriend him and try to help him out.

The trundle would likely be baffled by his predicament, and try to find friends and/or family who'll believe that he's me, and help him deal with his unusual situation. If the normal Me doesn't intercede and he isn't captured for experimentation (or otherwise removed from normal day-to-day life), he'd probably try, gradually, to settle back into my life, as normally as he can manage.
