I often show Annaro as being very uncaring and cruel; and she is all those things, but she is more nuanced than that. She knows how to be kind and patient; its just not in her nature to be so and she's a very instinctive and primal creature. So, her attempts are being a little kind are rare, but always welcome for Drew, especially considering how bad he must be feeling with all those hormones and all that jazz.
