As you can see, I haven't given it a name yet. This is a sorta cross between a bat, some kind of rodent and a cat with a beak. Not sure about the legs yet, especially the paws, but I'm working on them.
This little creature is about the size of a kitten. Although it has a wing limb, it lacks the membrane so it can't fly. Instead it uses the long wing finger to dig out insects and tree sap, which makes up a part of its diet. It also enjoys seeds and nuts, cracking them up with its beak, and the occasional treat of molluscs. It has impeccable hearing and can see in colour and at night, but its sense of smell is lacking.
These creatures are highly vocal and social and make fantastic pets if given plenty of attention or kept in pairs. They are intelligent and quick to learn tricks. But much like a cat, they are the ones who decide whether they want to play or not.
