Last year, I started to work on a series of artistic nudes in order to improve my anatomy. So I made two generic canines in order to do this. But I have a big problem creating just "generic" characters to do this with. Now the two of them are fleshed out characters in a story that I'm working on, along with several others.

This was the first image of Ben. Even today, I'm still pleased overall by this, the problem is that the shading wasn't taken as far as it should have, and some of his proportions are a little off. The good thing though is that his pose is pretty natural despite those things.

And yeah, he is a husky, but his tail in this image...well...isn't. Live and learn, right?
