Fires burn upon themselves
Charred fields of passion

Yet ever fading blazes
Stifled in Autumn

Leaves of Autumn fall
Blazing leaves in blazing fields
Chilling—but slowly

By winter’s Embrace
Hearts freeze over in disgrace
Sheered by tempered winds
