More art from the Ever-Changing Palace fanzine by Vicky Wyman, here are two of the main characters from the Xanadu series, Tabbe Le Fauve and Fatima. Here they're not in costume and on set but are relaxing at some point between shooting for the comic. Vicky told me a few times that she liked to imagine that the things we saw happening in the comic were the performances of her characters, and that off-set relations between them could be very different. I.e., the villainous griffon Reginald Plume was actually a pleasant fellow, much like Grand Moff Tarkin's actor Peter Cushing. Unlike Mr. Cushing, Reggie liked to bake -- and get baked -- on the marijuana brownies he used to make. Hey, Vicky's words, not mine!
So anyway here are Tabbe and Fatima off the set and happy to be seeing something or someone.

Btw, one line I liked in the first issue of Xanadu was this one by Alicia after Fatima's encounter with Tabbe:
"His wildness appeals to your Freeborn blood!"
This actually makes sense since cats aren't as domesticated as say, dogs and cattle (to the point where they can be considered semi-domesticated). It would also explain why Tabbe would fall for Fatima than any Domestique he knows.
This probably wasn't Vicky's intention but its definitely something worth noting.
