A lot of radio stations will have a "local artists only" bloc, usually starting between 10pm and midnight on Sunday, but I always enjoyed listening to them whenever possible because of how much good undiscovered music is out there. Consequently, my playlist is jam packed full of bands few people have ever heard of.
Black Math, The Black Shucks, Chxrlotte, The Cyberbots, Deadstar Collective, Desert of Talking Shadows, Heroine Honey, The Joybirds, LastTimeDown, Leona Logan, Liz Blair, LoveSick Radio, Midnight Divide, Off the Coast, Paralandra, Paul Dateh, The Perks, Thousand Years Wide, Todd Morse, Velvet Chains, Voxxx, Written by Wolves, Yung Bleu, etc. Just to name a few. ^_^
