A normal night out for a drink for the young couple turns into something a bit more unexpected...

"I'll be back a minute Felix, gotta use the little tigers room" spoke Marihea as she hopped off the bar stool. "Ok I'll keep our spot until you get back, do you want another drink?" replied her partner Felix. "Oh get me a Tigersbane please that stuff's hard to come by and I heard the barkeep has it in stock!" chripped Marihea as she skipped out of sight. "Hmm... Tigerbane's huh? Kinda sounds like a bad thing haha...Excuse me could I get a Tigersbane and a pyranda cidar?" asked Felix when a barkeep appeared in view.

"Sure thing a Tigersbane and a Pyra C? No problem, uhh you're not trying the Tigerbane right because I can't recommend it?" spoke the barkeep in a nervous tone. "It's for the lady that was here is there reason why? She seemed pretty excited for it" replied a puzzled Felix. "Phew that's ok! Sorry about that it's just Tigersbane is...kinda lethal to humans and I didn't want to held accountable for...you know..heh, kinda of a big deal for business you know?" replied the barkeep in a relieved tone as she handed over two glasses of rose coloured liquid.

"I hope you and your friend enjoy yourselves sweetie" replied the catlike alterian woman before she hurried over to a rowdy group of customers. "Hmm this..isn't half bad considering this is supposed to a type of alcohol" muttered Felix to himself as he drank from a glass further from him as he caught sight of Marihea. "Hey I'm back! Ohh...they DO have it yummy! Thanks Felix" replied Marihea coming up behind Felix giving him a sneaky kiss as she sat down again. "So what do think? Did you try the Pyra C? Good isn't it, a bit harder than the last stuff right?" giggled the tigress taking a sip from the other glass.

"Hmm...this tastes weird, I expected something harder-Felix are you Ok?" spoke the tigress giving Felix a worried look, "Umm...yeah...I'm fine just feeling abit...uh...something...it must be the dress you look amazing." stammered Felix moving his hand off the bar. "Hehe..pretty cute huh? I thought you'd like it-" started the tigress when she noticed where is hand was. "Uh huh....I guess this drink isn't the only thing that's hard, not that I mind" smirked the Marihea.

"Marihea I think something...feels really wrong my heart's racing...and oh crap-" whispered Felix, Marihea gaze shifted upwards and what caught her sight was a pair of tiger ears sprouting from Felix's head! "Uhh...that's not normal...Oh wow is that a TAIL?! WTF! Felix are you ok?" replied Marihea in a frantic tone checking him noticing the fur rapidly appearing on his other hand followed by very apparent claws. She sniffed round him and the scent lead to the half drunk glass which she took a swig of without hesitation. "Welp...that's definitely Tigersbane. Why the heck did you drink this?! You could've DIED?!" complained Marihea banging her hands on him.

"I'm fine..Really I thought something was off but didn't think too much of it. I think we need to go, I'm kinda burning up and well getting something else which must be a side-effect" replied Felix nervously. "Ok lets go back to the Inn" replied Marihea downing both glasses like they were water (I wonder how far this transformation goes, ears are one thing but actually sprouting a tail is something else...is it a reaction to his unstable mana regulation?) thought Marihea as she supported Felix out of the bar.
