Lizalfos are a fun species, always going skrrrk, and skraaawk. And just overall being their own wierd yet fun little lizards.
So when I found a lizalfos mask, horns slots practically made for me, tongue wagging about practically begging to be worn, I like anyone else was going to pick it up and have a look.
But almost as soon as I held it up, it began to leak and pour out shining green rubbery liquid. Spreading sticky, shiny, and smelling of rubber, staining everything it touched as long heavy threads got everywhere, making a mess of my scales. But as the goop flowed out, it took only a moment of not paying attention to its sudden springiness before the mask found its way onto the face of its chosen wearer. Now very much stuck inside as the goopy goodness spread, dripped and flowed downwards, all a wyvern like me can do is look through those sewed on mask eyes at the green spreading across my body and hiding away my scales.
But it didnt take long, as quickly as the mask took to sling itself onto the head, was the gooey green making tracks spreading downwards. Cold and wet, flowing down and blocking away the winds under its heavy deluge, working its way into my scales and every nook and crevice, leaving no bit untouched, and the blos a very goopy mess. Wet and sticky, dripping in green, all that was left was to wonder before the mask closed its eyes to blink, and a brand new pair opened up to greet the world. Armor quickly forming outwards, spikes poking out the arms, tail reaching around as it takes on a relaxed coil. The sewed on maw popping open a the long wet tongue sprung to life. Bouncing in the air with every breath, green liquid dripping everywhere, and a happy little squawk escaping the freshly formed snout.
Where once was a diablos, now stands green Lizalfos in his puddle of rubber.
Always wanted to try being a lizalfos, so this is going to be fun
