Now, due to some incidents (Some messing with other people's dogs, power outages and general malaise.), I began to doubt that I would be able to finish everything by the end of December.

Set reasonable goals for yourself and attempt to chew the unchewable! It sounds like you have had to deal with a lot there.
Maybe it won't be done by the end of December, but you could set yourself a milestone goal for it--I don't embroider so I'm not sure what that looks like. You have about 7-12 days before general winter holiday shuffle hits with Xmas and then the new year! I don't know how much I could get done in that time since I've had sewing projects on hold for literally years--and that's just for mending! Haha 😄 chew the unchewable!

I could give a gift in early January, but I would just like to do it on the 30th-31st, well, this embroidery is not complicated, and it is embroidered quite cheerfully, although I need to work on the scheme, because I have embroidered most of the finished design. It's not a bad indicator, but it's not the only gift. It's all right:3
