Oh daaang, this is sweet. Loving that glow effect, and the background being a very dark blue instead of black makes it suitably ominous without being flat and bland. The placement of the sigil brings to mind the halos in religious artworks; not sure if that was intentional symbolism or if it's just a neat compositional coincidence, but either way it is fitting for a powerful character. Are all the god-tier aurians going to have their own individual logo/insignia thing? (Also: little puppet dudes — Eko and Sylvo?)
Thank you! :]
Yeah, all the Avatars have their own one and I've actually already designed them all! I spent the better part of a year making personal references for them all and creating their Sigils to go with it, which was a lot of character designing and re-designing but now I can make stuff like this with it.
(spot on with Eko, their sad puppet's my fave of the two. The other one is Arcascellion, though now I realise their designs share some similarities and I should've put his lil' chest "V" on the puppet. They'd probably look similar this simplified anyway, but that mark is part of Arc's own Sigil and in hindsight I should've included it for that alone, lol.)

Niiice, I am very looking forward to seeing the rest of them. I am also eyeing that sigil, and then eyeing my vinyl, and my sandblaster, and my glow powders. >:]
Yeah, it was only a tentative guess on Sylvo because the horns didn't quite match with his design, but there isn't an fullbody image of Arcascellion in your gallery (yet), so I missed the tails. Speaks a lot to the amount of power Joiros wields if he can make other Avatars dance at his command.

I feel like I've given very dangerous knowledge to a very powerful person, lol
I hadn't remembered I only had a waist-up for Arc until checking my gallery, so it was a definite "oh whoops, there's no evidence" moment for me. He'll probably get more art over time, him and Joiros both.

This looks very cool, and I think you should be immensely proud of it! Going the extra mile with lighting and shading really shows how far your art has come over the years. It's a very striking image and, of course, I love the backlighting. While there's a lot of green in your gallery, I like this sort of emerald green that differentiates it from the vibe of your other works. The symmetrical composition is striking and the emblem in the background is a great framing device that I don't feel detracts from focusing on Joiros himself. If it was me drawing this, I may have lowered the sphere a bit to keep it all in-frame instead of cutting off at the top, and also to make the hand and horn parts of the sigil sit further down; this way the hands could almost give the illusion of wings from his shoulders and the horns could sit more behind his actual horns and look like symbolic extensions of himself. I'm kind of rambling, but it was just some thoughts that crossed my mind. I still enjoy the placement of everything and appreciate how the top of the sigil sits neatly against the top of the image. The art as a whole looks superb and is so far my favourite piece of yours (alongside Warpwoods Waterside).
Joiros himself looks really good here, especially for what I believe is his debut in his new Echoes Apart appearance. While I know the hidden aspects to his design, one thing I hadn't noticed fully before now was how his wrists look like there is a clawed hand gripping each one, which I think is really neat. They look like spikes at first, but then you kind of realise what they resemble. Given their shape I almost wonder if they can move at all, given the rest of his body is deceptive in what it can do. They almost look like they'd articulate like real fingers, or at least the "thumbs" of them do, though that would be kind of creepy to imagine.

Thanks! Yeah, I actually did consider moving it around a bit to align the hands differently and also to maybe have the full circle in the shot, so to speak, but I kinda liked the circle cut off a little at the top, oddly enough. Something about it just made me go "hm, no, I kinda want it to look like it's a bit out of field of view". Making it look a bit like wings was something that crossed my mind, I just decided not to go with it in the end more for character reasons than anything because I didn't feel like it suited him. I'm glad it still works out all the same!
You know, I only realised today that I haven't name-dropped Echoes Apart at all on here. Really thought I had, lol. Anyway, those wrist "hands" are one of my fave parts of his design: tested it on a whim and immediately thought "YES. THIS. IT HAS TO BE THIS." I don't imagine them to be able to move on their own, but since he can very much affect what you see, it doesn't mean he couldn't make someone think that they do.
