The fin turning in a waste of water
The small fin goes round and round with a factory in the distance, sucking the life out of the water as it pumps more and more waste into it.
If this really the fate we want for our world?
Do we continue on this path?
Continuing to senselessly destroy the only home we have?
Soon we will have nothing left to destroy, their will be only a toxic wasteland....
Such reads the inscription on the small plate in front of the exhibit in the museum,
Showcasing how the world used to be.
No-one cares to look at it anymore, problems like that were fixed long ago,
and the exhibit is due to close next week.
Brushed aside like so much of the other old world junk.
Problems that are solved are never looked at with much thought, and problems that effect us now don’t seem to either.
The only time that people admit there is a problem is when it effects them directly.
Such is the way it is, until someone steps forward to do something about it.
