Fucking hell.
This is a tough one. I suppose even in a domestic abuse situation, a familiar - though horrible - status quo can feel more comfortable than the fear of an uncertain future. What Georgie needs to do is present a viable alternative. Not just a way out, but a way forward, so that unknown seems a little more…well…known.
At some point, Aqua’s gotta fledge the nest. Only question is whether or not that fledging is gonna be traumatic or relatively smooth.
