Wanted my first piece posted back on this site to be a showcase of how I've improved since I left. In November of 2023, both of my parents passed away within a day of each other after battling multiple illnesses and ailments for over 10 years. I started the initial sketch for this piece shortly after they died, and worked off and on on this piece until finishing it this year on the anniversary of their deaths. SZA's "Saturn" felt incredibly relatable to me after I had to deal with facing the world without my parents in my life.
