This is referenced from one of the most memorable Looney Tunes episodes called "Chow Hound." It is also a banned episode for a few reasons, and I was hesitant to post it. But I think people should just stop taking things in cartoons so seriously nowadays. A few other artists' works and stories reminded me of this, including SilverZeo from DA.

I read it could be from the forced feeding at the end or the mouse looking like an African Hunter....or just the meaning of the entire episode.

The entire episode, pretty much. Lying, cheating, extortion, repeatable violence...

You can't make them like that anymore... not unless you air on Adult Swim, at least.

They need to try airing them again, because these toons were the best! Besides, some of the cartoons on now are acid trips compared to this!

Probably because the ending was.....well, dark. They irises out just before the dog went...... something that happened to Bluebeard Wolf too after he ate the "popovers" in Bye Bye Bluebeard

Because of an explosion? Looney Tunes get blown up, eaten, shot at, etc, so I don't see what the big deal is. It might be the African stereotype in the cartoon too that did it. And I have that Bluebeard episode, need to draw him sometime too!

Same here, I have always liked the designs for most if not all the Looney Tunes. I wish these particular characters were used more though.

Brought back memories. I remember totally wishing they'd done some other final punishment...and it was weird when it got edited and they cut away before the forcefeeding o.0

Great to hear it, I loved this episode. I also don't get how they get to show explosions, guns and shooting but edited that last part. I thought the dog might change his ways given the chance, I thought he had a good voice too, who knows, maybe one day they will bring him back.

I see, well I am glad to rekindle any memory! And it was banned because of the force feeding at the end with the dog exploding I think. I still find that weird because in alot of other Looney Tunes cartoons, characters get destroyed worse than that.
