When best friend, my ferret Rowan, was euthanised due to lymphoma back on July 17 2003, I drew this for her. I had a dream she was chasing rabbits in a green, lush field, somewhere in animal heaven. But she had to get there somehow, so I gave her wings.

Losing her was one of the hardest things I have ever faced in my life. I shall never forget my little Rowan, my sweet baby weasel who will remain in my heart forever. I love you, my fuzz-butt, and thank you.
