Meditite ~ Benefits of Meditite-ation
posted a year ago Mental Health Digital Artist
Pokémon fanart request of Meditite!
Meditation can help in so many ways for your mental and physical well-being. I know it’s not for everyone but it doesn’t hurt to give it a try and see if it does help in some way, try at least a few times a week if you can! 💕
Here’s some small tips if you’re new to meditation!
1. Start Small: Begin with just 2–5 minutes a day to build the habit without feeling overwhelmed.
2. Focus on Your Breath: Pay attention to your inhales and exhales—it’s a simple and grounding anchor.
3. Find a Comfortable Spot: Sit or lie down in a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be interrupted.
4. Don’t Worry About “Doing It Right”: It’s normal for your mind to wander; gently bring your focus back to your breath or a chosen point.
5. Use Guided Meditations: Apps or videos can provide structure and make it easier to stay on track.
6. Be Consistent: Meditate at the same time each day to make it part of your routine.
7. Be Patient: Benefits take time—focus on the practice, not the results.
