Kokuhane and I absolutely love it <3 that's me when I eat sushi, I want that raw goodness in muh tummy but my failure to hold chopsticks prevents me to! D:

I'm still trying to figure chopsticks out. It doesn't help that people tell me to hold one of them like a pencil, but I hold my pencils funny...

My aunt taught me to use them when I was really young (after she came back from a work trip there) and the skill stuck. My brother, on the other hand, is a lot like you.

Very cute frustration, though.

remember: hold one like a pencil and the other so that it rests on the tip of your annular and the hollow between your thumb and pointer. and hold them near the back end!

Hahaha. I live in Portland, OR. It's very culturally diverse here. How ever, primarily whites and asians. With that said we're really spoiled with asian food. Most places have silverware any way though since there's no real separate asian community. Every one associates with every one regardless of race or looks. So fuck chopsticks.
