Detail view of the only hard part of the dildo. This base plug is the interface between the Dildo Selector rod and carousel. This part is embedded in the base of each dildo.
The drive rod slots in and locks with a 35° turn. Front of drive rod and slot of plug are both chamfered (beveled) to allow for some wiggle room (+- 5mm) with insertion.
The second thing (the U shaped part) is the detent which is spring loaded to pop in and out of the base. Either it or the base will be spring loaded for easy snapping.
The detent is welded to the carousel ring.
Due to the cylindrical detent cavity, this part probably can't be injection molded so would have to be 3d printed. Which is fine, a low res print could help provide extra grip!
